All pass users must accept the college’s terms & conditions and photo consent agreement before provisioning a Paw Pass. Activation of your Paw Pass account signifies agreement with the terms and conditions and photo consent agreement. Every passholder is held responsible for reading and understanding all applicable policies, agreements, and the terms.
For users studying any Health Science related fields such as:
- Any EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) courses
- Any Nursing courses
- Any Medical Laboratory program courses
- Any ST (Surgical Technician) courses
- Any CR (Cardiorespiratory) courses
- Any Phlebotomy courses
Check with your professor if a physical badge is required for clinical/hospital/ambulance/etc. access.
Users must provision a mobile ID in order to receive a physical badge, badges will be provided to instructors for dissemination to students.
You may need to schedule an appointment for a physical badge/ID if:
- You don’t have a smart phone or (NFC & MFA capable with the 6th version or newer)
- You don’t have iPhone SE, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus or later running the latest version of iOS*, and Apple Watch series 1 or later running the latest version of watchOS
- You don’t have an Apple ID signed into iCloud
- You don’t have an Android device version 6.0 or later
- Your device does not have at least a passcode enabled
- Your phone is registered to countries outside of the US
All new students receive access to the mobile ID program as their official CSN ID. MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) is required for mobile use and provides a layered defense to ensure only those authorized to provision a mobile credential can do so (current students/employees).
Users requiring a physical pass must schedule an appointment with the Paw Pass Office.
Approved government IDs include:
- State Driver’s License
- State ID Card
- Government Issued Passport/Visa
- Permanent Residence Card
- Tribal ID Card
- Military ID Card
- High School ID Card
Your first physical or mobile Paw Pass is free. A $10 replacement fee will apply at your scheduled appointment time for any replacement physical passes issued. If switching from a mobile pass to a physical pass, a $10 replacement fee applies. There is no charge to switch from a physical pass to a mobile pass.
